Still Yours

About us

Two founders. One problem we were already paying for.

Still Yours checks on the homes, plots and cars people own but cannot get to — and sends back proof, not reassurance. We started it because our own families needed it.

What we do

Eyes on the property you can't get to

A verified person walks your property on a fixed day, photographs and films it, and your report arrives within the hour. If something needs fixing, you decide — from wherever you are.

Homes

Apartments, villas, the parents' house — every room walked, photographed and filmed.

Plots & land

A boundary walk with GPS photos, and a straight answer on whether anyone is sitting on it.

Cars

The car parked for months — started, checked, photographed, before the wiring goes.

How this started

We were already paying for this problem

Raj's family paid for their house twice over — once in flights, once in repairs. He brought the idea to Naitik, who recognised it before the call was over. Here's each of us, in our own words, not a company voice.

Family home outside the city · land in the village · a car in Indore

We were paying for that house twice. Once in flights, once in repairs.

My family's property is outside the city. Papa had his job, Mummy ran the house, and between the two of them a free weekend to go and check on it never really came. So we didn't go. Months would pass. And a house nobody walks through doesn't just sit there quietly — it goes bad slowly, in the exact way that costs a lot to undo later.

Every few months the worry would win and my parents would make the trip anyway. They'd find whatever had been waiting for them, spend on getting there, and then spend again getting it repaired — always more than it would have cost to catch early. Between trips the tension never actually left. It just sat at the back of their day, all year.

So they tried the obvious fix and put it on rent, hoping someone living in it would keep it alive. Then Papa visited. The tenants weren't looking after it either, and the rent was coming late, or not at all. Now my parents had two things to worry about instead of one.

Watching them carry that, year after year, is where this came from. Not a market gap — my mother and father. If one person we trusted could walk through that house on a fixed day, photograph everything and just tell us the truth, the whole thing stops being a worry and becomes a solved problem. I researched it until I was sure, then took it to Naitik.

I was also deliberate about one thing: I wanted to build something with real logistics inside it. A pure software product can be cloned in a weekend now — AI will write the app for you. A verified human being who actually turns up at your door, in your city, on the day they said, cannot be copied like that. The hard part is the moat, and it's also the product.

The land and the car aren't extra features we brainstormed. Papa's land is in the village and he is genuinely afraid someone will encroach on it — he can't get there, and even when there's a function at home, making the trip is difficult. And because he lives in Bhopal while the car stays in Indore, mice got into the wiring and chewed straight through it. That repair bill is the reason cars are on this site. Every one of these is something my family has already paid for.

Bengaluru · the same empty-house story at home

Raj was three sentences in and I already knew how it ended. We'd lived the same thing.

Raj called me about this on a day that was supposed to be about something else entirely. He got maybe three sentences in — a house the family can't get to, a condition nobody can actually verify — and I stopped him, because I already knew how the story ended.

I'd watched a version of it at home. A place that stays shut, a neighbour or a relative who says sab theek hai because that is the kind thing to say, and then a bill months later for something that was small in March and expensive by August. Nobody in that chain is lying to you. They simply have no way to show you the truth, and you have no way to ask for it without sounding like you don't trust them.

That's the part I couldn't put down. The problem isn't that people don't care about your house. It's that caring produces a thumbs-up, and a thumbs-up is not evidence. So the thing I push hardest on in what we build is proof — the actual room, on video, with a time stamped on it, that you can open at 11 PM from another country and finally stop wondering.

And Raj had already done the thinking on the half that isn't software: real people, verified, physically showing up. Left alone I'd have built an app and called it a product. He'd already worked out that the app is the easy half. That's when I knew this was worth doing properly — and worth doing with him.

What we believe

The promises we built the company around

Not values on a wall. Each of these is written into our Terms, and each one is something we would want if it were our own house — because it was.

Proof, not reassurance

A thumbs-up is not evidence. Every room on video, every photo with its time and place — something you can open at 11 PM from another country.

Nothing happens without your yes

A flagged issue is a question, not an invoice. No repair, no purchase, no booking until you approve the exact amount.

The person matters more than the app

Anyone who walks into your home is met in person and verified first. For now, that person is one of us.

We fix what we damage

If we break something while we are inside, we repair or replace it at our cost — no argument about whose fault it was.

Your property is yours

Photos and recordings are seen only by you and whoever you share them with. Never sold, never used for advertising.

Every rupee shown first

No brokerage, no commission on rent, nothing hidden in a bill. You see the whole price before you pay any of it.

Our story

From a worry at home to a company

  1. 01

    A house nobody walked through

Raj's family home is outside the city. With work and the house to run, a free weekend to go and check on it never came. Months passed, and a house nobody walks through goes bad slowly — in exactly the way that costs a lot to undo.

  2. 02

    The obvious fixes didn't work

Every trip found something waiting, and paid for it twice: once to get there, once to repair it. Renting it out was meant to keep it alive — but the tenants didn't look after it either, and the rent came late, or not at all.

  3. 03

    The call

Raj researched it until he was sure, then took it to Naitik. Three sentences in, Naitik already knew how the story ended — his family had lived it too: a shut house, a kind “sab theek hai”, and a bill months later for something that was small in March.

  4. 04

    Deciding what to build

Not just an app. Software can be copied in a weekend; a verified person who actually turns up at your door, on the day they said, cannot. The app is there to carry the proof that person brings back.

  5. 05

    Doing it ourselves first

Before handing the job to anyone, we do the visits ourselves — to learn it properly, and to know exactly what we are asking of every inspector who joins after us.

  6. 06

    Where we are today

Live in Bengaluru, for homes, plots and cars. The land and the car are here because Raj's father worried about both: a plot in the village he couldn't get to, and a car whose wiring the mice got to. Every service we offer is something our families have already paid for.
